Clear Braces
Straightening your teeth doesn’t have to mean metal brackets and wires. At Chillicothe Family Dental, we offer clear braces using Invisalign®—the nearly invisible way to achieve a straighter, healthier smile.
With clear aligners, you can improve your bite, appearance, and confidence while still enjoying the freedom to eat, brush, and floss normally.
How Invisalign® Treatment Works
- Consultation – Our dentists, Dr. Schwalbach or Dr. Holland, evaluate your smile and create a personalized treatment plan.
- Custom Aligners – Invisalign® aligners are made from advanced 3D imaging technology for a precise fit.
- Wearing Aligners – Each set of aligners is worn for about 2 weeks, only removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
- Progress Checkups – You’ll visit our office about every 6 weeks to monitor progress.
- Treatment Timeline – Most cases last 9–15 months, with 18–30 aligners used, depending on your needs.

- Easier hygiene – Brush and floss normally for better long-term oral health
- Predictable results – Digital planning allows you to see your expected results before treatment begins
What Are Clear Braces?
Clear braces, also called clear aligners, use a series of custom-made, removable trays to gently shift your teeth into place. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® aligners are:
- Virtually invisible
- Smooth and comfortable
- Removable for eating, brushing, and flossing
- Custom-designed with 3D computer imaging
Who Is a Candidate for Invisalign®?
Clear aligners can treat many common orthodontic issues, including:
- Crowded teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Overbite, underbite, or crossbite
- Mild to moderate misalignment
For more complex cases, we may recommend traditional orthodontics or a combination approach.
